The brief was to create a practical bathroom, with sharp lines suitable for a city flat, whilst making the room inviting and with a sense of warmth. This was a relatively small space in the eaves and so we used vertical panelling to add texture and interest. Antique brass accessories, ceramic tiles and marble on the vanity top were incorporated to continue the layering of textures and make the space feel less utilitarian and more welcoming.
